Engine

4 cylinder Holden engine tuned by Speiss, DOHC, 16 valves, alloy head breathes through a 26mm air restrictor, in accordance with FIA regulations, electronically fuel injected, produces over 200bhp.

 

Race tuned by Spiess, in Germany, the Holden 2 Litre engines produces 3 times normal power, restricted by a limited air intake to keep a control on costs.  It goes from 0 to 100km/hr in under 4 seconds with a top speed of 260 km/hr and a power to weight ratio over six times that of a Ford Falcon.

Transmission

Rear wheel drive, 6 speed sequential plus reverse Hewland FTR dog gearbox at rear of car.

Suspension

Double wishbone all round, gas filled Ohlins adjustable dampers, variable spring rates, anti roll bars front and rear.

 

Brakes

15 inch rotors, high performance Ferodo pads.

Weight

450Kg without driver, 550Kg minimum with driver under race regulations.

Body

Carbon fibre monocoque (the driver survival cell) with carbon panels, no chassis as engine is fixed to the monocoque.
